A dance based on the literary character “Sisa,” written in the novel “Noli Me Tangere (Touch Me Not)” by Jose Rizal. This explores an individual’s journey or exploration of what could be real or unreal, dancing on the borders of sanity and fantasy, of memory and actual life, of multiple voices and singular reason. Premiered last September 19-21, at “September Sessions” in Yokohama, Japan.

About the Artist

The premier contemporary, jazz, and modern dance company of De La Salle University – Manila. Formerly known as the La Salle Dance Troupe and the La Salle Dance Company – Jazz, the company aims to incorporate and integrate various forms of art and literature into its dance pieces and performances to present significant cultural and contemporary ideas. Over the years, the company has produced notable artists in the entertainment industry and members of established dance companies in Manila. It also stages culturally and socially relevant dance concerts for the Lasallian community and its patrons. In addition, the company actively participates in local and international competitions, earning various awards and recognitions.
