LORE

Venue
LORE is a solo performance that places the Filipino male body in dialogue with artificial intelligence to explore how identity, ancestry, and history are shaped in the digital age. Through live AI prompts that attempt to define Philippine myths and choreograph Austronesian-rooted movement, the work reveals the limits of algorithmic knowledge as it meets embodied experience. The performance moves toward precolonial and shared Austronesian memory, culminating in the live singing of Ljulimai, a Paiwan song of longing and homeland. In this final moment, the body asserts itself as a living archive that resists reduction to data, language, or code.
