TATLONG MARIA

September 13, 2026 (Sunday) 10:30 – 11:00 AM

Tanghalang Ignacio Gimenez – Auditorium

Tatlong Maria weaves three distinct monologues together representing different generations of the Filipina experience. Through the voices of Sebya, Saling, and Sepa, the play brings to life poignant stories inspired by classic Philippine literature—touching on personal grief, colonial feudal oppression, and contemporary socio-political loss. As the trio chatters while preparing for visitors, each assumes distinct regional mannerisms while interacting with unseen characters on stage. Together, their interwoven narratives offer a moving portrait of resilience, history, and womanhood across time.
