About the Artist
CCP Kabataang Gitarista (KG) is a classical guitar training program of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, designed for public high school students. Established in 2012 under its Artist Training Division, the program provides free, high-level instruction aimed at nurturing young musicians and fostering a deeper appreciation for classical music among the youth in Metro Manila and nearby areas. Through regular workshops, mentorship, and performance opportunities, KG continues to develop promising young guitarists, contributing to the growth of a new generation of Filipino artists.
