Handumanan: Treasures of Visayan Folkdances & Tradition is a breathtaking cultural journey that serves as a living archive of the central Philippines’ history and soul. Translating to “keepsake” or “remembrance,” the performance weaves together a rich tapestry of pre-colonial rituals, Spanish-influenced courtship dances, and high-energy festival celebrations. More than just a showcase of movement, this sensory production features authentic costuming and live traditional instrumentation to honor the Visayan spirit. Through deep reverence for its roots, the show beautifully celebrates the heritage, stories, and enduring faith of the communities that birthed these traditions.
