IPAG’s Sita: The Ramayana Revisited reimagines the ancient Hindu epic within a contemporary Philippine setting to highlight timeless lessons in history, ethics, and human nature. When Sita chooses to stay near her abductor Lawana to warn her husband Rama of a deadly trap, she finds herself caught in the crossfire of a fierce, historical conflict. Though the invasion succeeds and Sita is freed, she must ultimately face Rama’s doubts and a trial by fire to prove her fidelity.
