A folk theater production based on traditional Meranaw tales and recognized among the Philippines’ landmark plays. The story follows the clever trickster Pilandok, who accidentally frees three enchanted tonongs (fairies) and embarks on a quest to lift a witch’s curse from Princess Potri Pituimanis. By curing the princess, Pilandok earns her hand in marriage and a powerful position in the kingdom of Agamaniog during a grand, multi-tribal celebration. However, amidst the festive merrymaking, Pilandok confronts a deeper truth about the heavy burdens, control, and unseen agonies that come with power.
