PADAYON

Date (Day) Time

Venue

Inspired by Gil Vicente’s Auto Da Alma, Padayon is a devised theatrical work that reimagines the “Soul’s Journey” through the contemporary lived experiences of student-artists. Set within a single dining space that fluidly transforms through memory and imagination, the play follows a central figure, Being, as they navigate a landscape shaped by family, faith, and the crushing weight of external expectations. Through fragments of childhood rituals and intrusive thoughts, the performance unfolds as a layered exploration of identity under pressure—moving not toward a simple resolution, but toward a profound recognition of what it truly costs to keep moving forward.
