About the Artist

The Performance Laboratory, Inc. (PerfLab) is a non-profit regional theater company based in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. Co-founded and led by artistic director Tanya P. Lopez and executive director Noel Pahayupan, the ensemble operates out of The Negros Museum’s Black Box Theater. The company focuses on staging original, impactful dramatic works, organizing community and youth theater workshops, and hosting cultural gatherings such as the annual Kuris International Theatre Festival.
